UAE Maritime Week is returning to Dubai for the fifth edition from 22 to 26 September 2019.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, the UAE Maritime Week 2019 is set to promote the UAE’s global status as a first class maritime destination and enhance Dubai’s competitiveness as one of the world’s leading maritime clusters.

Hosted by the Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), UAE Maritime Week highlights the local maritime sector’s achievements on the international stage, and will once again provide a unified platform to tackle the maritime industry’s future backed by innovation, knowledge and smart transformation.

H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), said: “The UAE Maritime Week forms part of our tireless efforts to create a global profile for and enhance the competitiveness of Dubai maritime sector. The event is an important national platform that allows for the exploration of the industry’s future in a bid to position the UAE as the world’s most competitive, comprehensive, and exclusive maritime center.”

The UAE Maritime Week 2019 will feature a series of world-class events such as Dubai Maritime Agenda 2019 where the third edition of the Dubai Innovation Awards will be launched to honour the most valuable contributions and innovative initiatives that are boosting the growth, development, and prosperity of the local maritime sector. It will also include the Seatrade Maritime Awards Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa; Seatrade Offshore Marine & Workboats exhibition and conference; and Seatrade Maritime ShipTech Middle East.
